Position at GroupM
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering media recommendations and monitor execution of campaigns across digital media channels in the APAC markets (SEA, NEA, ANZ). Interpret client’s marketing objectives and challenges to formulate effective campaign solutions, develop insights, translate campaign data into meaningful learnings. Prior understanding & experience of digital platforms like Google Ads, Meta, DV360 preferred.

In this role, your goals will be:In 3 months:
- Acquire an in-depth understanding of key media platforms, their solutions and ability to apply this knowledge in media planning and evaluation.
- Build positive relationship with clients, media owners and agency partners.
- Acquire a good understanding of the accounts’ way of working, planning process, GroupM’s proprietary tools and how it can be applied to formulate insights and campaign plans.
In 6 months:
- Become the go-to-person for clients on campaign matters. Actively participate in clients meeting discussions.
- Own campaign implementation including digital performance monitoring and reporting.
- Competent in project timeline management to ensure timely delivery/campaign launch.
In 12 months:
- Builds credibility by applying understanding of clients’ marketing challenges/priorities in day-to-day communication with clients, agency partners and media owners.
- Own campaign planning including proactive collaboration with various parties to develop compelling media solutions.
- Leading the development of planning sessions and quarterly buying reports.
What your day job looks like:
- Work closely with the account and ops teams to ensure timely and correct campaign setups and provide recommendations on campaign performance optimisation
- Oversight and governance of reporting dashboard, while ensuring regular reporting is delivered on time and accurately across all regional markets with sound analysis and learnings
- Understand the client’s market position, develop and build relationships with clients, acting as first point of contact on day-to-day requirements
- Develop strong working relationship with key agency and media partners. This will include acting as the first point of contact for operational issues
What you’ll bring:
- Prior experience in advertising industry (media agency, digital agency, creative agency, media owners) will be an advantage.
- You are a team player with good interpersonal skills and you thrive in an energetic and fast paced environment.
- You are analytical and rigorous in thought process: able to interpret client’s marketing objectives and challenges to formulate effective campaign solutions, develop insights, translate campaign data into meaningful learnings
- An affinity for numbers and experience in Excel is highly desired.
- You are eloquent in making presentations and comfortable in speaking up in group discussions
