At WAVEMAKER, the media agency that brings media, content and technology together in integrated media, marketing and content strategies, we have a great opportunity for you!From the WPP Campus on the Amstel, we advise leading clients such as Action, Perfetti van Melle and Friesland Campina on strategy, planning and optimization of their multi-market media campaigns. Due to expansion, WAVEMAKER is looking for a Digital Lead to join the Global Solutions team. What will you do as a Digital Lead?
- You are the lead within the client team for strategy and planning of digital media for international clients. Within the client team, you work closely with the Client Lead and Strategist;- You translate this strategy to various digital specialists (including Social, Display, OLV, Retail Media and Search) in order to bring the plans to life;- In close cooperation with the digital experts, you work out media plans for your clients, and offer advice regarding media buying;- You have the responsibility to further develop existing accounts by engaging with clients as a consultant and spotting opportunities;- You present and sell plans and related products (tooling and GroupM proprietary services). - You optimize media campaigns based on learnings and the Wavemaker business rules and key beliefs;- Your extensive knowledge of the digital landscape enables you to bring clients up to speed on the latest developments. You integrate these developments into a roadmap for both the short and long term;- You keep a complete overview of the financial processes (flowcharts, forecasting, etc.).- You continue to develop yourself through training offered within the Wavemaker and GroupM Academy;- You provide support in new business projects; What does your team look like?
As Digital Lead, you are part of a team that focuses on various customers within the Global Solutions team. Within your client team you will work closely with both the Client Lead, Strategist and the digital specialists within GroupM Nexus. You will be in charge when it comes to the digital aspects within the media strategy and campaign process, from initial briefing to final evaluation. This multi-faceted role requires both strategic and tactical insight to translate client objectives into effective media plans.In addition to your role in the client team, you will also be part of the Digital Community within WAVEMAKER. Within this community, together with the Head of Digital & Transformation, Digital Directors and other Digital Leads, you bear responsibility for the continuous development of the digital expertise within WAVEMAKER.In short, in this Digital Lead role you will be the linchpin that brings strategy and execution together, both within the client team and within our Digital Community. Who you are?
- A professional with at least 3 years of media/digital marketing experience;- You are a solid, entrepreneurial personality and are able to convince and negotiate;- You dare to take initiative and take decisions;- You are structured and can work in a goal-oriented way;- You are commercially minded and conscious of maintaining your network;- Good command of English, both spoken and written.- Dutch language is a plus.
