OverviewAbout the Role
We’re looking for a Manager of Marketing & Communications to join our small team. Reporting to the VP, Marketing & Communications, you will build strong relationships and trust with agency leaders and experts. You will build our reputation among the right audiences to attract the right clients and talent. This person will be responsible for managing and contributing to various marketing & communications projects and processes for Zenith.
About the Candidate
You’ll be a comms professional with lots of energy and ideas, natural gravitas, and a track record of developing and delivering communications strategies to achieve results. You’ll be used to working with stakeholders and earning your stripes as a trusted adviser. You’re a thinker and a doer, a strong writer, highly organized with attention to detail, experience working in complex organizations or working in an agency environment. You’ll have a good news instinct, be able to identify opportunities, and come up with new ideas. You’ll have a strong interest in creativity, trends, and marketing. You’ll be driven by data and obsessed with delivering value for our team.
Responsibilities- Lead, develop, and execute Zenith’s social media content strategy and act as engagement manager on platforms including Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining Zenith collateral including editorial and social calendars, thought leadership POVs, bylined articles, lobby displays, presentations, website content, and more as directed.
- Develop and deliver strategies to improve communication and enhance the reputation and visibility of Zenith amongst key decision makers in the business and advertising communities.
- Advance and support internal communications and culture programs to unify Zenith.
- Publish and cascade internal communications across multiple channels.
- Assist in the planning and logistical execution of internal and external events.
- Manage measurement and reporting to clearly demonstrate the impact of communications and brand marketing, including but not limited to press, events, social media, original research including quarterly NPS, etc.
- Provide hands-on media relations assistance including pitching features, profiles, and opinion pieces while building and nurturing relationships with targeted journalists.
- Assist in identifying and securing speaker and panel opportunities.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders from across the business to build trust and demonstrate the value of communications.
- Identify better ways to do things, constantly striving for excellence and efficiency.
- Assist the team in projects and assignments as directed.
Qualifications- 3-5 years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
- Self-starter and proactive, you are happy working independently and taking the lead.
- Organized, poised, and meticulous about meeting deadlines with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to think on your feet, work in an agile manner, and adapt to evolving needs.
- Excellent written English and a great communicator and collaborator with people of all levels.
- Engaging, positive with an infectious enthusiasm, someone that people naturally gravitate to.
- A team player, with the ability to remain flexible.
- Digitally savvy and passionate about communications.
- Corporate and b2b media relations and/or marketing experience.
- Desire for personal growth and development. This team is dedicated to developing its talent by offering opportunities to own projects.

Veterans Encouraged to Apply
Compensation Range: $63,000 - $80,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
