OverviewThe Director of FP&A will report directly to the VP of FP&A. This individual will provide strategic financial leadership for subset of agencies under the Creative Pillar. They will work closely with each agency financial leadership team, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting. The role will involve leading a team of two to six professionals who support the Creative agencies, providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance on financial processes to drive greater efficiency and productivity. The Director will also play a key role in developing financial strategy, optimizing financial models, and influencing senior leadership on key business decisions through financial insights.
ResponsibilitiesFunction as a business partner to the agency FD/CFO’s to provide guidance and insights of Pillar performance with a large focus on results from Actuals, Budgets, and Reforecasts
· Lead the monthly forecast and annual budget processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and accuracy of all financial inputs, including:
o Designing and refining P&L models that are essential for Senior Leadership’s financial decisions
o Collaborating with cross-functional finance teams to ensure seamless integration of financial data
o Reviewing and presenting forecast and budget updates to Senior Leadership
o Ensuring accuracy in financial systems, including Hyperion
· Oversee and lead P&L reporting during the monthly close process, including:
o Comprehensive variance analysis and headcount reporting
o Short-term revenue forecasting for the next three months
o Publishing results packages and presenting findings to Senior Leadership
· Track agency performance through various P&L KPIs, including growth, staff costs/HC, overhead, margin, and Trade Working Capital, deploying the team to research and request further details when dealing with material variances
· Lead and enhance the departmental/investment tracking and reporting process, integrating data into monthly forecasts and annual budgets
· Oversee utilization reporting to Finance leads and ensure strategic insights for staffing and financial efficiency
· Manage the personnel planning model, ensuring alignment with financial projections
· Perform ad hoc analysis to identify financial trends, highlighting risks, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
· Take ownership of Client Profitability reporting, driving analysis for actuals and forecasts to help the agencies improve margin
· Act as the key contact for a major systems integration, ensuring smooth implementation and alignment with financial systems
Employee Training and Development
· Manages 2-3 direct reports at the Associate Director and/or Manager level with focus on growth and development.
· Partners with agency teams on consistent process implementation across all aspects of FP&A related finance matters
· Determines proper staff requirements for each agency assignment based on complexity, logistics, and skill levels.
· Coaches and develops staff at all levels, leading by example.
Qualifications· Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
· 10+ years of Finance work experience considered, advertising experience a plus
· Strong leadership skills, with experience managing large teams and driving a culture of high performance
· Strong background in financial strategy, including the ability to influence Senior Leadership with data-driven insights
· Must be able to drive innovation using systems/tools and deliver efficiencies
· Strong technical skills, especially Microsoft Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, etc.)
· Must have experience with Hyperion (HFM)
· SAP & Dashboard/Data Visualization Tools (i.e. PowerBI) experience is a plus
· Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial metrics and analysis to all levels of the organization
· Experience presenting financial information to non‐financial teams
· Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to maintain and grow positive relationships
· Self‐motivation to work independently
· Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment

Compensation Range: $115,000 - $194,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
