In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:
- Own expertise in econometric modelling (Marketing Mix Modelling, MMM) and ad-hoc analytical projects, independently lead projects, presentations and communications with internal and external parties
- Be the local consultant and point contact for any requests on global planning and optimization tools, keep regular conversations with global Business Planning team for updates and improvement
In six months:
- Overlook and manage internal and external requests on consumer insight, social listening, analytical projects, brand safety services and GroupM proprietary tools
- Support pitches independently for any requests in business planning area
- Actively participate in regular Business Planning calls to learn new products and best cases within the community, leverage and apply relevant product and case to China market
In 12 months:
- Play an active role in finetuning and improving the delivery of work to internal or external teams
- Manage and lead conversations with other function teams to fulfill client needs
What your day job looks like in GroupM:
- Digest requests, find proper approaches and deliver data solutions to internal and external teams
- Participate in client meetings as the lead of insight, social and analytic services
- Support pitches and demonstrate value added services within the organization
- Explore opportunities of out-of-scope projects to drive revenue
- Take charge of team management affairs, including recruiting, motivation, sharing, etc.
- Maintain an active interaction with global business planning team and local GMK team
What you’ll bring:
- Expertise in insight, social and analytical products (both qualitative and quantitative)
- Experience in team management (recruitment, goal setting and review, sharing and bonding, administrative affairs, etc.)
- Excellence in communication and presentation
Minimum qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in econometric products in media agency, research agency and client side (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree and above in marketing and related subjects
- Deep understanding of the relationship between consumer, media, brand and business
- Ability to harmonize different sources of information to provide integrated data solutions
- Excellent communication skills, ability to manage expectation of multiple teams
- Excellent presentation skills, ability to adapt to different team and client chemistry
- Ability to work in a matrix organization, managing complexity and challenges
- Good balance of detail oriented and strategical view
- An independent, self-motivated individual with highly responsible nature
